Root Beer Time - July 2008

Summer time is time for home-made root beer. With 48 new bottles from my grandchildren for Father's Day, 5 gallons of water, 4 pounds of sugar, root beer extract and yeast we mixed up the brew and then with the help of grandchildren and children, we put it in the bottles and put a cap on it. Next they incubate for 24 hours to get carbonated and then we enjoy a cold root beer on the 4th. Happy 4th of July.
